I think including works of photography are great for the magazine; there is purpose in expanding it beyond just the written arts, letting other kinds of submissions stand alongside the prose and poetry. I believe I recognize this photo as being taken in Philadelphia during AWP; springing for opportunities to snatch photos during trips is, to me, a form of art in itself, and it’s pleasing to see this photo here.
