A Love Story in the Kitchen | Connor Wackowski

There once was a girl who loved to cook

Her kitchen her haven, her little nook

She’d spend hours mixing, stirring, baking

Creating dishes both delicious and heartwarming

But one day, a man walked into her life

And soon became her husband, her partner in strife

Together they’d cook and create magic

A love story unfolding, a romantic classic

They’d chop and dice, sauté and roast

Creating meals that were a delight to both

They’d sip on wine and dance to music

The kitchen their playground, their little mystic

One day, he surprised her with a dish so divine

She couldn’t believe it came from her husband, so fine

A recipe passed down from generations past

A dish that made her heartbeat so fast

They laughed and talked over the meal they shared

A love so strong, it’d never fizzle or wear

For in the kitchen, they found a bond so true

A love that flourished, between pots and pans, nothing new

And so, they continued to cook and create

A love that never ceased, an undying flame innate

For in the kitchen, they found their place

A love story that continued, a sweet embrace.
